MAO TITHIARUN has been a government official since 2003. He was a member of Samdech Prime Minister’s Secretariat Team from 2008-2017 and was a Director General of Information Research and Analysis Group from 2017 to February 2020 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. In addition to being a political analyst for the public sector, Mr. MAO is also a freelance legal consultant for a number of business companies whose expertise includes labor law, family law, contracts, joint ventures, alternative disputes resolution, arbitration, property development, special economic zone and foreign direct investment promotion for Cambodia. Mr. MAO received a Master’s Degree in Political Science in 2002 from the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 1999 from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE). Mr. MAO was a part-time lecturer at various public and private universities in Cambodia from 2004 to 2015.
